This month has been so busy, that I haven’t been able to blog the rest of our trip or most of the sessions I have done in October! So be ready!

Florence, will be forever my favourite Italian city! We walked around so much and did non-stop exploring! We saw some of the worlds most prized pieces of art, and touch some of the most magnificent pieces of history. The entire time we were in Florence, it felt like dream, it was so beautiful and so clean! There were amazing street artists that continued to blow my mind and created stunning pieces of art with chalk, just to have them washed away overnight.

It was so intensely hot while we were in Florence, it was hotter than I have ever felt and being in the sun for a short time I was sweating in places I never thought I could sweat! I was so thankful for early morning wanderings and air conditioned galleries, we were lucky enough to have the chance of seeing David, and first thing in the morning, before it was too crowded. It was breath taking, it reminded me of how small I am in the world, but also how the “art” I create will hopefully last lifetimes.

On top of the breath taking art, there was the FOOD! I don’t think I have ever tasted anything like the things we ate in Florence, from the best pizza from down a tiny alleyway, to the most delicious sandwiches. I don’t think I have ever seen Ramsey so excited in his life!

I do dream of the day that I can return to Florence, but maybe in the fall.
